Michael Barbieri PhD: Intelligence gathering information has been the forefront of all investigations. Therefore the name Global Intelligence Consultants, Inc. providing not only intelligence, but real time investigations world wide.
What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?
Michael Barbieri PhD: There are no typical days, just different assignments, consultation and consulting based on a variety of client from the corporate, private and legal profession.
How do you bring ideas to life?
Michael Barbieri PhD: All of our plans to work a case come from discussions from our staff as to the best way to tackle the problem presented to us and making sure the best solution are gathered so the client receives the best results.
What’s one trend that excites you?
Michael Barbieri PhD: Forensic investigations have become the most exciting part of our business. Global has developed a complete team of licensed forensic experts to handle our clients needs.
What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?
Michael Barbieri PhD: I have the tenacity of a bulldog. I never give up nor do I ever quit.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Michael Barbieri PhD: Always keep moving, just like sharks, when sharks stop moving they die. Never stop learning and always work toward your goals.

Michael Barbieri PhD: No matter what the case may be, when you eliminate the impossible whatever is left, no matter how improbable is the truth.
As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?
Michael Barbieri PhD: I manage by walking around. I want to see what is going on in our company and I also go out in the street with our investigators to make sure they are completing the tasks properly.
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?
Michael Barbieri PhD: We have grown our business by putting the client first. Taking care of their needs is why they come to us, that is what separates us from the rest of the industry.
What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?
Michael Barbieri PhD: I never focus on any one failure, I always focus on the positive. I put the negative behind and move forward. Everyone fails, but the individuals that get up and try again and the successful individuals.

Michael Barbieri PhD: I will never give away any business idea to anyone. What I do is look at the competition, and take their good points and add them to ours, if we are not already doing them!
